antagonistic properties against most of the plant pathogenic and free living fungi by
way of both, parasitic and antibiosis. This happens in soil, especially at rhizosphere.
This ability could be studied in lab on plates, but on a tissue culture medium with
slow growing explants,it is impossible, because, this antagonistic fungus with its
fast growth, cover the whole surface within days and thus denying your growing tissues
for space, carbon and other growth sources,
Again this itself become a problem:a worst contamination.
if so, you need a common means of multiplication of fungi. (FDA)
if what you want is the way of application to crops, know the number of colony forming affecting disease you have.
and if it is applied directly to a medium with the in vitro culture, I agree with Mr.Easwaramurthy Ramasamy "It´s Impossible"
It does work quite well against root and stem rots. There are other cheaper means of controlling those pathogens.
