Lesson Learned from Japan breeding for superior grape, might as well applied on our eucalyptus

Tertarik melihat pengalaman Jepang dalam program pemulian anggurnya.  Ceritanya tidak selalu manis, ada unsur dramatis, meskipun tidak ada intrik, dan episode yang penuh muslihat, nah wong ini ilmiah.
But, it take 100 year for Japan to established their own superior Clone.  The introduction of first planting of grape from France, vanished.  Sending scholar to France to learn the technology.


Back home they started to develop their clone, extense hybridization are conducted, hundred of test are being conduted,

they finally have Koshu wine............Muscat Baily crossing

Should inspire me to do the same to Eucalyptus, do not expect quick result.
